SCHOOL WEEKEND INVITATIONS are not arranged by AFS volunteers. You may not have received an invitation to a weekend because you either live too far away, or there were not enough families to host all students (usually the case). If you were invited, respond to the person on the invitation as soon as possible to insure that you have a place to stay. Always respond to ANY invitations!

FALL RETREAT at the Adirondack Center
Sept. 26-27, 2009 - REQUIRED for AFS students and those who will be going abroad this summer or the coming school year. Info to come.
Current high school host siblings are invited to attend fall and spring retreats, and must bring this permission form to the retreat or fax it to Happy at 439-0016.

IMPORTANT DATES - 2009-10 Down all the important dates here Departure Note: There will be a morning ceremony at the Adirondack Center. Families will say goodbye and departing students will spend the day at the Center. Students who are staying beyond this date should plan on spending the day and getting a ride to your host-home with an AFS volunteer.
Spring T-Shirt Contest Help us design the departure t-shirt. Bring your one side, one color (black only) shirt design and all students will vote for the one we will use. Art work should be in solid black and white. Marker is best. No pencil with shading. The final design will be printed in a color other than black, but in order for the printer to make the screen, it has to be in black.
